Bangalore, Mar 29 (UNI) Three teachers, including two head masters, were arrested by the city police on the charge of replacing original answer sheets of the ongoing tenth standard examinations with ones written after the exams, here today.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) K V Sharat Chandra said the trio was caught red handed when the SSLC Board officials along with police raided the Padayarayanapura Government High School premises.

The teachers, identified as V Thimmaiah, K V Venkatesh and M Jeerappa, had not sent two bundles of answer scripts to the Board as per the norms after yesterday's General Science examination.

Instead, they were indulging in replacing the original answer scripts with those written after the examinations, he said.

Board officials said the three teachers had allegedly taken money from about 20 students to do the favour.
