Three persons killed in road accident near Anand

Anand, Mar 29 (UNI) Three persons were killed and one injured seriously when the car they were traveling in collided with a truck near Valsad toll naka on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai national highway number three today.

The passengers - four persons including the driver - of the ill-fated vehicle were traveling towards Aghas Ashram in Anand from Kamrej in Surat when their speeding car hit a truck.

The deceased have been identified as Ajitbhai Ramanbhai Patel, Chaganbhai Lalubhai Patel and Ishwarbhai Moolchand Patel, police sources said.

Arunbhai Chotubhai Patel, who was seriously injured in the accident, has been admitted to Anand hospital, sources added.
