Shakti to get Tepa Samman

Ujjain, MP, Mar 29 (UNI) Bollywood star Shakti Kapoor, whom film buffs love to hate, would be honoured with the Radha Lala Amar Nath Smriti Hasya-Vyangya Tepa Samman here at the 37th All-India Tepa Convention on April 1.

Kapoor, who has acted in more than 400 movies, would present a programme at the convention.

''Earlier recipients include Asrani, Tiku Talsania, Prem Chopra, Shekhar Suman, Surendra Sharma, Manohar Shyam Joshi, Jaspal Bhatti, Sharad Joshi, Ashok Chakradhar, Kaka Hathrasi, Manik Verma, Sarojini Pritam, Hullad Moradabadi, Om Prakash Aditya, Shail Chaturvedi, K P Saxena, Harishankar Parsai, Alhad Bikaneri, Shyam Jwalamukhi and Lakshmikant Berde,'' Organising Secretary Manish Sharma said in a release issued here.

Poets Vishveshwar Sharma (Mumbai), Neeraj Puri (Betul) and Kavita Kiran (Rajasthan) will recite their creations at the programme.
