Prudential ICICI AMC wins at Lipper Fund Awards

New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) Prudential ICICI AMC today bagged the prestigious awards - the Best Overall Fund Group over three years at the Lipper Fund Awards (India) ceremony 2007.

Prudential ICICI AMC Managing Director Pankaj Razdan said, ''Lipper Fund awards is an internationally acclaimed programme, which recognises and rewards the best managed fund houses on the basis of excellence and consistent performance.'' It is an award in the overall category across all fund class be it equity, debt or mixed assets for a three consecutive year performance, he added.

In addition, Prudential ICICI Long Term Plan-Cumulative was declared the best fund over three years in the Bond INR General category, out of 76 eligible schemes.

The Lipper Fund Awards 2007 India is part of a global programme of events, held in 21 countries, to reward funds that have delivered consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers.

The winners are selected using the Lipper Leader rating for consistent return. The award-winning funds are among the 130,000 funds Lipper tracks globally.
