No differences with party supremo: Narendra
Hyderabad, Mar 29 (UNI) TRS leader and former Union Minister of State for Rural Development A Narendra today denied he had differences with party supremo and former Union Labour Minister K Chandrasekara Rao.
Talking to media after a meeting with party leaders, including former State Minister N Narasimha Reddy and TRS Floor leader G Vijayarama Rao, he said 'I have no differences with Mr Rao.' The TRS, spearheading a movement for separate Telangana, was set to hold a Presidential election on April 16. Polls to TRS district committees would be completed by April 10, party sources said.
Differences in the TRS came to the fore after TRS MP B Vinod Kumar objected to the reported decision of Mr Narendra to extend tactical support to the TDP in the recent Legislative Council elections in Karimnagar.
Mr Narendra had blamed Mr Rao's leadership for the party's failure to ensure the success of its second MLC candidate Sudarshan in the recent elections, while the TRS dissidents-backed independent candidate K Gnaneshwar won comfortably.
