Patna, Mar 29 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today demanded that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh convene an all party meeting following the stay granted by the apex court on reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) in premier educational institutions of the country.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Kumar said the stay would lead to ''frustration and restlessness'' among the OBCs and the issue should be addressed urgently.

If there was alreay a provision of 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in government services, there was no justification to deny them same facilities in educational institutions, he added.

He said the delay in taking initiative to solve the issue at the highest level could disturb the social fabric which might jeopardise the unity and integrity of the country.
