Naxals loot EVM

Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, Mar 29 (UNI) Naxals have looted an Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) from Kaneri polling centre at Ambagarh Chowki assembly segment in Rajnandgaon district this evening.

Naxals looted the EVM after election officials had sealed the EVM and were preparing to return after polling for the by-election in Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency at the balloting centre concluded.

On receiving information of the naxalite attack, additional police force were sent to the area.
