MP Assy adjourned ahead of schedule

Bhopal, Mar 29 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Assembly, which resumed sittings today after a five-day break, was adjourned for the day around noon for want of business.

Apart from Question Hour, call attention notices and tabling of a report, six bills were presented. At 1210 hrs, Deputy Speaker Hazarilal Raghuvanshi adjourned the sitting till 0900 hrs tomorrow.

Speaker Ishwardas Rohani, who headed a three-member delegation to a Conference of the Commonwealth Speakers and Presiding Officers in Pakistan, returned today.

The budget session, which got underway on February 19, is scheduled to conclude on April 5.
