Mother arrested for killing child

Puducherry, Mar 29 (UNI) Police today arrested a 20-year-old woman for allegedly killing her son at Kalapet near here yesterday.

Police said Vijayalakshmi, the second wife of Ramseh, dejected over her husband's neglect of her one-and-a-half year old child threw him into a well yesterday.

Since the child was missing from yesterday, Vijayalakshmi's father lodged a complaint with the police, who later retrieved the body from the well.
