MLA fund increased to Rs 80 lakh in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Mar 29 (UNI) The Rajasthan government has increased the MLA constituency development fund from Rs 60 lakh to Rs 80 lakh.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje announced this in reply to the Appropriation and Finance Bill in the Assembly today.
The Chief Minister said out of the Rs 80 lakh allotted to an MLA per year under the constituency develoment fund, Rs 15 lakh has to be earmarked for the drinking water projects.
The Chief Minister rejected the demand of Oppostion leader Ram Narayan Chaudhary to increase the amount to Rs 1 crore.
