Four hardcore ATTF rebels surrender to Assam Rifle

Agartala, Mar 29 (UNI) Four All Tripura Tiger Force(ATTF) activists today surrendered to the Assam Rifles at Teliamura under Tripura's West district.

Assam Rifles sources said here that the ATTF insurgents fled from the splinter group led by Royal Debbarma and surrendered before the Central Paramilitary Force of the Assam Rifles this morning at Teliamura camp, about 35 km from here.

Those who surrendered included a 'self-styled' sergeant, sources said, adding no arms and ammunition were however, deposited during the surrender.

They were handed over to state police and interrogation was on.
