Former PM's son's vehicle challaned for mode code violation

Mr Shastri is fighting the parliamentary bypoll for Mirzapur-Bhadohi seat, which was necessitated after BSP member Narendra Kushwaha was disqualified over cash-for-query sting operation conducted by a private news channel.
The sports utility vehicle (SUV) of Mr Shastri was being used in his canvassing without valid pass.
Meanwhile, Mr Shastri claimed he had applied for passes to his six vehicles to be used in electioneering, but could not get it.
