Farmer causes flutter

Hyderabad Mar 29 (UNI) A farmer from Chittor district today caused flutter when he climbed a big tree near the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, alleging that government Chief Whip Kirankumar Reddy was threatening him to give up the land which was assigned to him.

The farmer Madanmohan Reddy, who had climbed the tree getting passed the police maintaining tight security in the Assembly, was arrested by the Saifabad police.

However, the Chief Whip talking to reporters denied the charges.
