Deranged man lynched by villagers

Hardoi, Mar 29 (UNI) A deranged man, who had allegedly tried to kill a primary school teacher today, was lynched by the villagers in Madhoganj area here.

Police said the deranged person, Ram Sahai, went to the government school at Shivapurwa village this afternoon and attacked a teacher, Kuber Prasad, with a sharp-edged weapon.

Soon locals collected at the spot and lynched Sahai on the spot.

Only last year, the deceased had completed the jail term for his wife's murder 25 years back.

He made his living by working as a quack. The body has been sent for postmortem and investigation is on.
