Cop held for accepting Rs 500 as bribe in Kheda Dist
Nadiad, Mar 29 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths today caught red-handed a police constable for accepting a bribe of Rs 500 at Mahuda village police station in Kheda district.
Constable Motisinh Udabhai Chauhan was caught while he was accepting the bribe money from an autorickshaw driver, Surindersinh, this afternoon.
Surindersinh, while driving his rickshaw, had collided with a two-wheeler on March 12. Chauhan had then told the rickshaw driver that he would help him and secure bail, if he paid him Rs 500.
Surindersinh had then informed the ACB, who laid a trap.
