CM orders for special audit in state university

Agartala, Mar 29 (UNI) Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today ordered for a special audit on the alleged misappropriation of funds in Tripura University.

Speaking in the Assembly, Mr Sarkar said the audit would be conducted soon.

Opposition CLP leader Ratan Lal Nath had demanded for a CBI enquiry or special audit on the alleged financial corruption in the University since the last few years.

UNI
