Bihar Assembly adjourned sine die

Patna, Mar 29 (UNI) The month long budget session of Bihar Legislature was adjourned sine die yesterday.

During the session both the Houses witnessed 23 sittings.

The government tabled a full budget for 2007-08 fiscal, which was passed by both the Houses.

It was for the first time that the government tabled an economic survey in the legislature, Assembly sources said.

The CAG report for the year 2005-06 was also tabled.

Several important bills including Police Bill- 2007, Bihar Municipal Corporation Bill-2007, Bihar State University (amendment) Bill and University of Nalanda Bill- 2007 was tabled.
