261 swanky commercial complexes to dot Haryana

Chandigarh, Mar 29 (UNI) Haryana is all set to be dotted with swanky commercial complexes with the state government approving construction of 261 commercial complexes over an area of about 604 acres.

While most of these complexes were proposed to be built in the posh district of Gurgaon bordering the NCR, the residents of other districts of the state would also be able to enjoy the cool comfort of shopping in these plush complexes, an official spokesman said here today.

He said as many as 157 such complexes would come up in Gurgaon covering an area of over 406 acres followed by 46 in Sonipat over 91 acres, 26 in Faridabad over 46 acres, 11 in Panipat over 21.5 acres, six in Karnal over about 10 acres, five in Rohtak over 13.6 acres, four in Panchkula over about seven acres, two in Sirsa over 2.3 acres and one each in Kurukshetra, Bhiwani, Hisar and Yamunanagar.

The spokesman said the major projects of Gurgaon were DLF, South City, Greenwood City, Uppal House, Sheetal Enclave, Vipul World, Sun City, Rosewood City, Malibu Estates, Palam Vihar, Sushant Lok, Ardee City and Green Line.

The largest complexes would be constructed at Gurgaon and these projects were named as DLF Ph III over 33 acres, HLF over 16 acres and Energetic Construction over about 12 acres.

In Faridabad the major project was Countrywide, In Panchkula Amaravati, Shalimar and Contel, in Karnal Grandeur, Sushant City in Panipat and TDI City, Omaxe and Sushant City in Sonipat.
