Two killed by ultras

Chatra, Mar 28 (UNI) At least two persons were killed and one injured when the members of a proscribed outfit, Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), opened fire at their vehicle at Simaria police station area in Jharkhand's Chatra district yesterday.

Superintendent of Police Kamlesh Singh here today said the ultras opened fire at the jeep near Lamta-Shivrajpur vilage.

The deceased succumbed to their injuries on the spot, Mr Singh said.

The ultras attacked the vehicle suspecting the deceased as the members of rival outfit CPI (Maoist).
