Teamlease releases annual Temp Salary Primer 2007

Chennai, Mar 28 (UNI) TeamLease Services Pvt Ltd, a largest staffing company has released their annual Temp Salary Primer 2007. The salary survey for temporary hiring covered 34 profiles in six industry domains across 13 major locations, according to a release here today.

This data combined with a section on minimum wages for the unskilled, semi-skilled and highly skilled workforce across all locations and made the primer, a comprehensive guide for employers and jobseekers to match talent, experience and compensation.

This years report included a special 'TeamLease trend watch' for each location that would capture trends in the salary distribution across verticals, domains and functions.

The national index page also contained a comparison between temporary and permanent salaries across profiles, experience and domain.

According to key findings IT and ITES had emerged as the top verticals for temporary job prospects across all locations.

The number of temporary jobs offered in verticals like BFSI, manufacturing and consumer durables had increased by more than 20 per cent since last year, the release added.
