Agra, Mar 28: Team India's defeat at the hands of Bangladesh and subsequent exit from the Cricket World Cup in the Carribbeans, has proved to be a windfall for the mobile phone operators.

Sources in the cell phone companies told sources here that the people were giving vent to their ire against the Indian team through SMSs.

Subscribers flooded the mobile operators' servers with SMSs, that ranged from jokes on Team India's defeat to explicit expression of anger.

The jokes lampoon all the top Indian cricket stars, including master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virendra Sehwag and Sourav Ganguly for their focus on commercials rather than cricket.

People have been exchanging lakhs of SMSs, since Bangladesh outclassed the Indian squad, boasting of some of the biggest names in the game today, sources added.
