SMOT inks MoU with CAMC

Chennai, Mar 28 (UNI) SMOT, a business school that offers courses in business management, today signed a memorandum of understanding with the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC).

The MoU would help Indian SMOT students to have access to CAMC's flagship programme and benefit those intending to specialise in a consulting career vertical -- Essentials of Management Consulting.

Under the MoU, CAMC would deploy its faculty expert poll to teach students of SMOT and endorse the management consulting track offered in SMOT, which entails students of SMOT to opt for further international certification.

SMOT Director R Narasimhan said signing of the MoU marked the beginning of a new period in management education. The first batch of management programmes for this academic year and the SMOT would collaborate with professional bodies, research institutions and universities to offer recognised and industry relevant diplomas and certifictes.

SMOT would soon start branches in major Indian cities, he added.
