Puducherry Govt declares March 31 as working day

Puducherry, Mar 28(UNI) The Puducherry administration today declared March 31 as a full working day for all Government offices in view of the closing of the financial year 2006-07.

According to an offical release here, April 13 will be a closed holiday to compensate for this working day. However, this will not be treated as a holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
