PMC members stage walkout in the Assembly

Puducherry, Mar 28: The three-member opposition Puducherry Munnetra Congress (PMC) today staged a walkout in the Assembly to press the Speaker to reconsider his remarks that condemned the PMC yesterday.

The three members shouted their demands as the Chief Minister was reading his budget.

Later, the members staged a walk out.

It may be noted that the Speaker had condemned the PMC for disrupting the Lt Governor's address in the House yesterday.

The PMC members, who demanded that the Speaker should reconsider his remark, announced that they would organise agitations in the House and outside till the Speaker withdraws his remark.
