Panic grips Guwahati

Guwahati, Mar 28 (UNI) Panic gripped crowded THE Anthgaon area in the heart of the city after an explosion rocked the area THIS EVENING.

Police informed that a bomb planted by suspected militants went off in a garbage dump in front of Dhanuka complex in the area at 1800 hrs. No one was injured in the blast barring a Matiz car and a cycle-rickshaw were damaged.

Senior police officials rushed to the spot. Details were being awaited.
