MP Assy budget session re-starts tomorrow
Bhopal, Mar 28 (UNI) After a gap of five days, the budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly will re-start tomorrow to transact certain official business, official sources said today.
Speaker Ishwardas Rohani, Deputy Speaker Hazarilal Raghuvanshi and Principal Secretary (Vidhan Sabha) A K Payasi were on an official three-day visit to Pakistan. They are expected to return tomorrow.
Earlier, budget for 2007-08 and the motion of thanks on the Governor's address had been passed during this session, which commenced on February 19.
The Gau Seva (Amendment) Bill 2007 and the Bill to increase the retirement age of medical college teachers were also passed.
Sources added that since no substantial official business was left to be transacted, the session could be adjourned sine die on March 30 ahead of the scheduled date on April 5.
Of the 25 sittings proposed during the session, 15 sittings were held so far.
