Koirala to lead Nepali delegation in SAARC summit in New Delhi

Kathmandu, Mar 28 (UNI) Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala will lead the Nepali delegation to the 14th Summit Conference of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) to be held in New Delhi on April 3-4.

Mr Koirala will also meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other heads of state and government during the summit, a senior official said.

Before the SAARC Summit, the meeting of the SAARC Council of Ministers would be held on April 2, the meeting of the Foreign Secretary level Standing Committee on March 31 and April 1 and the meeting of the Programme Committee on March 30.

The summit of the seven nations SAARC is held in every country on the basis of rotation.

China and Japan will also attend the summit as observers.
