Day temperatures high in Uttarkhand, Himachal Pradesh
Pune, Mar 28 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Uttarkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
They were appreciably above normal in Gujarat, Rayalaseema, some parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu and were above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Konkan, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and in remaining parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Maharashtra. They were below normal in Sikkim. They were normal over the rest of the country.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, in some parts of Orissa and were below normal in coastal Tamil Nadu and in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh. They were appreciably above normal in north Rajasthan, in some parts of Gujarat, Haryana, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Madhya Maharashtra, in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Karnataka and in remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, south Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Lakshadweep.
Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Orissa and north interior Karnataka. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in coastal Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
