Central forces recover 3600 kg of explosive
Lucknow, Mar 28 (UNI) The Central Paramilitary Forces (CPMF), deployed for Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, recovered 3,600 kg of explosive in Jhansi district last night.
The security forces made the recovery during its 'area domination exercise' when they intercepted a truck on UP-Madhya Pradesh border under Babina police station. The explosive, taken illegally to MP, comprised gelatin rods and other material meant for mining.
Home Secretary Arun Sinha assured of proper legal action against the guilty.
As many as 62 companies of CPMFs to be used during the polls have already arrived and been deployed accordingly.
