Bike hit electric post;youth killed

Surat, Mar 28 (UNI) A 35-year-old young man was killed on the spot after a motorbike on which he was travelling skidded on the road and hit an electric post at village Pardi in Valsad district today.

Police said Pappu Vishwanath, a resident of Valsad, was travelling on his bike. As soon as, he reached Pardi, the bike accidentally skidded on the Kailash road and hit an electric post, leading to his death on the spot.

A case has been registered by the Valsad police under whose jurisdiction the mishap occurred, police added.
