Bank looted

Bhind, MP, Mar 28 (UNI) Four unidentified armed miscreants looted Rs 36,000 from a branch of the Grameen Savings Bank at Gohad tahsil in Bhind district, police said today.

Assistant clerk Shatrughan Singh Tomar was sitting along with his friend in the bank when the accused, who arrived on a motorcycle, entered the bank and looted Rs 36,400 at gunpoint. The criminals then tied the duo with rope before fleeing.

Later, the clerk untied himself and informed the police.

Search for the accused is still on.
