Auto-lifting gang busted, two held

Varanasi, Mar 28 (UNI) With the arrest of two youths from Lanka area here and recovery of seven motorcycles, police today claimed to have busted a gang of auto-lifters.

Police said here Anand Singh and Monu Maurya, both residents of the city, were arrested from Susuwahi area under Lanka police station here.

Acting on information provided by them, the cops later recovered seven motorcycles lifted from different parts of the city.

Raids were being conducted to nab other members of the gang.
