An ULFA cadre and a linkman arrested

Dibrugarh, Mar 28 (UNI) Tinsukia police has nabbed a United Liberation Front of Asom militant Tarun Gogoi from Kakopathar Hatigarh of the district.

This arrest yesterday was a part of the Unified Command's initiative to intensify counter-insurgency operations in Asom to apprehend offensives by the banned ULFA ahead of its 29th foundation day on April seven.

An ULFA linkman Nirob Gogoi was also arrested from Kakopathar Tongana Tinali Nagaon.
