AIADMK, MDMK members evicted from House
Puducherry, Mar 28: The Opposition AIADMK and MDMK members were evicted from the Assembly today for disrupting the proceedings of the House.
As soon as Chief Minister N Rangasamy began reading out his budget speech, the three AIADMK members and the lone MDMK member were on their feet shouting that several schemes announced in the last budget were not yet implemented and Mr Rangasamy had no moral right to present the new budget now.
They waved posters mentioning the schemes, which were not yet implemented.
As the Chief Minister gave no heed to their protest and continued with his speech, the members stormed into the Well and shouted slogans infront of the Speaker's podium.
Following this, Speaker R Radhakrishnan ordered their eviction from the House.
