WB: Two live bombs near Panskura station

Kolkata, Mar 28: About two live bombs along with wires were found on the railway track at Panskura station of the South Eastern railway between Kharagpur-Howrah today.

Divisional railway manager, Kharagpur division, Ranjan Tiwari said some Maoist literature decrying the industrialisation move of the Left Front government in Nandigram were also found lying on the track.

"The train services, both up and down section, were suspended for about two hours," Mr Tiwari said.

The bomb disposal squad had defused the bomb and the train movement resumed after 1200 hrs, Mr Tiwari informed.
