UBI to set up representative office in Shanghai
Hyderabad, Mar 27 (UNI) As part of its global expansion plans, Union Bank of India (UBI) will set up representative office in Shanghai, UBI General Manager R Vishwanathan said today.
Inaugurating the bank's Central Processing Centre (CPC) here, Mr Vishwanathan said the bank was planning a global foray and had received permission to set up a representative office in Shanghai.
He said the bank, which had a total business volume of Rs 1,40,000 crore, would soon set up CPCs in Bangalore, Ernakulam and Chennai.
