Shyamal and Bhumika showcase collection at LFW

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) On the first day of the Lakme Fashion Week today, designers Shyamal and Bhumika showcased their Fall-Winter collection inspired by geometric shapes with graphic detailing in nature and urban settings.

They used fabrics like hand woven matka silks, raw silks and silk wools. Pure silk velvets, georgettes and crepe silks coupled with embellishments and craft techniques added luxury and glamour to the couture.

The patettes ranged from metallic silvers, rich gold and copper grounded by cool glaciers greys charcoals and blacks. Other colours used were primary violets, yellows and fiery red.

The designer duo design their international collections together.

Bhumika is the technical expert while Shyamal looks into branding and retail at their design space in Ahmedabad.
