Pregnant woman beheaded in Kerala

Malappuram (Kerala), Mar 27: A pregnant woman was beheaded allegedly by her neighbour at Parakkallu in Malappuram district of Kerala.

Police quoting preliminary investigation said M Khadeeja (32) was beheaded with a sharp-edged weapon allegedly by Vineesh (22), who was apparently annoyed over asking for a refund of Rs 20,000 loan taken from the former.

The accused has been arrested and further investigation was on, police said.

The deceased is survived by three children and her husband, who is employed in the West Asia, police added.
