Montek honoured

Chennai, Mar 27 (UNI) Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia and eminent orthopaedic surgeon Prof Mayilvahanan Natarajan were today presented with Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) in recognition of their contribution in their respective fields.

The honour was conferred on them by Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala at the 16th annual convocation of the Dr MGR Medical University.

A total of 8,755 students were presented their graduate certificates at the convocation.

UNI
