ISO 27001 Certification for Nipuna Services Ltd

Hyderabad, Mar 27: The Hyderabad and Bangalore centres of Nipuna Services Limited, Satyam's BPO subsidiary, have been certified with ISO 27001:2005 (including HIPPA Act, 1996), a company release said today.

The release also quoted Nipuna Services Limited CEO Venkatesh Roddam as saying, "the certification demonstrates our commitment towards effective implementation of information security in the organisation".

"Nipuna has been working towards the certification process since September 2005. All our centres always maintained the highest quality standards, both in infrastructure and services. This certification is a further validation of our standards," the release quoted Nipuna Vice-President (Networks and Systems) Detashis Singh as saying.
