B'lore: Remote delivery centre for Biz Service Mngt

Bangalore, Mar 27: Vitage Technologies, a pioneering BSM (Business Service Management) company, today announced the setting up of a centre for remote delivery of its BSM operations here.

Entailing an initial cumulative investment of close to Rs 15 crore, the centre was among the first few in India to be assessed for Integrated Compliance to ISO standards - ISO 9001 (Quality Standard); ISO 20000-1 (ISO Standard for IT Service Management) and ISO 27001 (ISO Standard for Information Security Management System).

The new centre was capable of remote managing large volume of nodes and delivered services round the clock and would enable Vitage to proactively and effectively manage its customer's critical IT assets using BSM processes and technology that ensured high level of availability, security and met the necessary compliance standards, the company said in a release here.

Company CEO P Rangarajan said ''the centre and our process compliance as per the ISO standards are key to our promise of enabling businesses by holistic and integrated management of their critical technology infrastructure. It will eliminate the need for our customers to maintain in-house expertise, besides cutting their IT operational costs significantly.''
