BHP says to restart Griffin oil field
Sydney, Mar 27: BHP Billiton Ltd. said it plans to restart production at its 10,600 barrels per day (bpd) Griffin oil field off Western Australia later on Tuesday, after shutting the field due to an approaching cyclone.
''Griffin is commencing preparation for production restart later today,'' a BHP spokeswoman said in an e-mail.
Production at Griffin has been shut in since Monday.
