Automobile workshop gutted in fire

Anand, Mar 27 (UNI) An automobile workshop was completely gutted in fire at Anand-Vidyanagar Road here today.

Fire brigade sources said the incident occurred at 1500 hrs when a gas kit which the mechanics were fitting in a car, caught fire and immediately spread to the nearby vehicles that were parked for repairs.

Two cars, two scooters and five cycles were destroyed in the fire.

No casualties were reported, sources added.
