Ashok Singhal spits fire at secular forces

Varanasi, Mar 27 (UNI) International President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Ashok Singhal today accused secularists of working as anaesthesiasts to make the Hindu community sensationless on all counts whether on the issue of saving the undersea Ram Setu, construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya or saving Ganga river from pollution.

''We will never let the construction of any mosque within the cultural periphery of Ayodhya, neither tolerate the destruction of Ram Setu under the ambitious Sethusamudram project and work till last gasp to save Ganga from pollution triggered demise,'' Mr Singhal maintained while addressing a public meeting here this evening.

Giving a call to Hindu community to unitedly vote for pro-Hindu candidates for eliminating secular forces, Mr Singhal said a Hindu Voter Forum has been established to politically unite the community ahead of the assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh.

A statewide 'Hindu Ekta Yatra' will be started by the VHP from April 15 from Varanasi in this regard. The march will tour the entire state between April 15 to April 30.
