Power Grid pays Rs 115 cr dividend to govt

New Delhi, Mar 26: Power Grid Corporation today paid an interim dividend of Rs 115 crore, for the financial year 2006-07, to the government.

The cheque was handed over by Power Grid Chairman and Managing Director R P Singh to Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, in the presence of other officials and board members.

The company has been paying dividend to the government for more than a decade, an official statement said.
