ITBP to fill up 3,000 vacancies from AP: DIG

Hyderabad, Mar 26: Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) DIG Ranbeer S Sharma today said more than 3000 vacancies in ITBP would be filled up with youth from Andhra Pradesh.

Addresing a press conference here, Mr Sharma said 3,000 people, including 855 constables, 876 radio operator constables and 529 drivers, would be recruited. Physical test for the recruitment would be conducted in Warangal and Nellore.

Stating that the ITBP was the pioneer force providing protection in various national and international events, he said the forces, protecting the border area of India and China at high altitudes, would also be deployed in other places as per guidelines.
