Hinduja to pump in 1,200 cr in Dubai's realty biz

Hinduja
Group
today
said
it
will
invest
Rs
1,200
crore
to
develop
resort
and
commercial
projects
in
Dubai
covering
an
area
of
two
million
square
feet.
For
this
project,
lands
have
already
been
purchased
in
the
Waterfront
Project
of
Al
Nakheel,
which
is
a
member
of
Dubai
World
--
a
leading
business
group
there.
Besides,
the
group
plans
to
set
up
a
manufacturing
unit
for
its
flagship
firm
Ashok
Leyland
Ltd
in
Dubai.
In
this
regard,
an
agreement
was
signed
here
today
between
Dubai
World
Chairman
Sultan
Ahmed
Bin
Sulayem
and
Ashok
Leyland
Ltd
Managing
Director
R
Seshasayee
in
the
presence
of
Dubai
ruler
Sheikh
Mohammed
Bin
Rashid
Al
Makhtoum.
