Bangladesh: 8 killed, 9 injured in accident

Dhaka, Mar 25: At least eight labourers were killed and nine others injured when a truck plunged into a roadside ditch near West Jamuna Bridge link road in northern Bangladesh today.

The accident took place when the Rangpur-bound cement-laden truck from Dhaka fell into the ditch in Sirajganj district.

Seven workers died on the spot and another died at a local hospital, witnesses said.
