AP: US business delegation invites investments
Hyderabad, Mar 24: A four-member delegation, led by Deputy Chief Administrative officer for Government operations and Economic Development of office of County Executive David J Byrd, today invited the enthusiastic IT and biotech firms to set up business in Maryland.
Participating in an interaction with the state businessmen, organised by FAPPCI here, Mr David said the Maryland administration had established Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs) to attract more foreign investments in IT and biotechnology sectors.
Stating that incentives and tax exemptions were being provided to the investors, he said they were also planning to set up 'Train Offices' in Hyderabad and Haryana to promote investments and provide guidance to businessmen in future.
Bowie State University Virtual Incubator Network (BSUVIN) was also being established at the university campus as part of the investment promotion, he added.
