Petrol pumps to be on strike on April 13

32,000
petrol
pump
dealers
across
the
country
will
go
on
a
day-long
strike
on
April
13
to
press
for
their
demands
and
have
threatened
to
launch
an
indefinite
shutdown
from
April
28
if
their
demands
are
not
met
by
then.
The
petrol
pump
dealers,
under
the
aegis
of
the
Federation
of
All
India
Petroleum
Traders,
are
demanding
five
per
cent
margin
on
invoice
value,
revised
MDG-2005,
pending
submission
of
report
by
the
Indian
Institute
of
Petroleum,
providing
marker
testing
equipment
and
appointment
of
an
appellate
authority.
Federation
Secretary
Ajay
Bansal
said
the
issues
raised
by
them
have
been
long-standing
and
the
government
has
so
far
ignoring
their
demands.
''We
do
not
want
to
cause
any
inconvenience
to
the
people
but
the
government
is
forcing
us
to
do
so....
If
the
demands
are
not
met
we
will
go
on
an
indefinite
strike
on
April
28,''he
added.
